Buried Duct Verification

   In order to qualify for full credit under Title-24 performance standards the ducting must be made with at least an R-4.2 wrapping.  They must be within 3 ½ inches of the ceiling gypsum, and they must also be buried under some type of insulation material with an R-30 value at minimum.  Supporting wires etc. are only needed in extraordinary circumstances.
